MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure

• Ability to multitask

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office

TYPICAL PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards with special attention to detail, excellent communication skills and have an ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. Good organization skills are paramount. A strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. 

 

Candidates to have valid drivers license and to have own vehicle.

Preference to candidates living in or close to Alberton.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
POSITION OVERVIEW

The General worker is responsible for offloading incoming merchandise from delivery vehicles and transporting stock to store in designated warehouse positions. It is the General Workers responsibility to keep the work environment clean and tidy at all times, and comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and coordinate incoming sales orders

• Communicate deadlines to relevant parties and ensure deadlines are met

• Liaise with clients and suppliers re status of orders

• Follow process to completion and ensure all tasks are finalized

• Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
